"How To Improve Your French
Accent And Finally Be Able To Speak Like A Native?"
Getting
the French accent isn't an easy task, and for many French language
student, it is somthing that will never happen.
Happily,
if you are really serious about learning the French language and if you
are motivated, you will eventually get it. What you must do?
It
is evident that you need to listen a lot to French phrases and
conversation. For that. listen to one tape over and over. It is
important that you stay with the same tape because you will train to
repeat and 'replicate' the voices with the exact pronunciation and
intonation.
Listen
to the radio as well. Buying a software to learn French will help a
lot. Be sure that the voice are from French native speakers and not
another French speaking country, otherwise you can say bye bye to your
French accent.
You
may also consider a subscription to a French audio magazine and
listening to some good French audio-books from time to time.
To
speak French is something, but to get the right accent is something
almost completely different. It's like an individual art.
If
you can travel to Paris and stay there for a while, it can help,
however there is no guarantee. I know many American living in France,
and even if they speak (heck, they are working there), you will know
that they are not native even if they were on the phone.
Many
Africans live in France for years, but they still have their own accent
even if they excel at the language.
So
how to speak with a French accent?
I
don't know a proven method to speak with a French accent, but what I
know is that if you really want
something and take massive action to reach your goals, you can get it.
Don't
stop listening and repeating, until nobody can say that you are not a
native... Unless you tell them!
